It's rarely ever that I splurge on makeup brushes but having heard such amazing things about this particular MAC brush I couldn't resist. First few uses it was pretty great. I used it largely for bronzer, highlighter, and even to blend my eyeshadow. It's definitely a very versatile brush, with super soft and smooth bristles that make it easy to pick up and blend any powder product. However, problems begun when the brush started shedding. Not an insane amount and only really here and there, but still a pretty big disappointment given the huge price tag that comes with the brush and the good reputation of MAC when it comes to creating high quality, amazing brushes.

In summary: Easy to use, versatile brush that works pretty well, however, you need to consider whether it's worth the price given it does tend to shed quiet a bit. The is a great little brush perfect for a more precise application of make up. I use it often and could go for another one! The MAC is a greta brush for contouring the hollows of your cheeks, jawline, temples, etc. It is small, with dense bristles that are firm but also blend product well. I have also used this for applying liquid foundation. It works well, but has the tendency to shed, leaving hairs behind.

Very handy, and quite versatile. I don't actually own too many brushes but this one is a winner. I really love this brush. I mainly use it for contouring and for blush on the odd occasion. It fits into the cheekbones nicely. It's small and dense which makes applying colour and blending very easy. I haven't had an issue with shedding as I only use it on powder products.

This brush is great for liquid or cream foundations, for blush, bronzer, or highlighter! I haven't used it for face powder but I'm quite sure it would work well for that - though it would be a tad small for a powder brush. It does shed quite a bit - more so than most face brushes - that's why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5. It does shed a lot less than it's sigma dupe, though! I use it mostly for applying my foundations - but occasionally for contouring. While it is a great blush and highlighter brush - I have got others that I prefer for those purposes.

Definitely a brush I cannot do with out and have recently purchased a second one so I can use it for both foundation and contouring on the same day!

I love this dense brush for applying highlighter. It's fantastic, the product applies exactly where you want it to go. I've also used it for contouring and it does work well but not the best. It's a superb highlighter brush. This brush is amazing. I use it for applying my Nars Sheer Glow foundation or any other liquid foundation. Simply dot the foundation onto your chin, cheeks and forehead and use the to buff the foundation all over your face.

Use on the face to apply, blend or contour powder products. The softly rounded dome tip delivers just enough colour and smoothly blends colour into the face. Caitlin Miller from Influenster. Katharine Arnold from Influenster.

April 7, , This is probably my favorite contouring brush other than the NARS one. The MAC is one of my favourite brushes to use although I have stopped buying natural hair brushes now.

I love using it to applying powder or cream blushes and I also used to love it to apply foundation. Its amazing. It has a flat side for applying foundation but also a really chunky tip for blending it into the skin. Can i get it in canada? CJ- no problem hun: My doesn't shed thankfully.

I've been eyeing up the for some time now, I have the sigma dupe for the but it's not as soft as the feels when I try it out at the mac store. Thanks for the comparison.
